UV DTF Sticker Instructions & Artwork Guidelines

To ensure the highest quality results, please review our artwork requirements and application instructions before placing your order. Following these guidelines will help ensure your UV DTF stickers apply smoothly and look their best.

Artwork Requirements

Please upload ready-to-print artwork only.

Your files should meet the following requirements:

  • ✔ 300 DPI resolution
  • ✔ True-to-size artwork
  • ✔ Transparent background
  • ✔ High-quality artwork
  • ✔ Minimum line weight of 4 pt
  • ✔ RGB or CMYK artwork accepted
  • ✔ Accepted file types:
    • .AI
    • .EPS
    • .PNG

If your submitted artwork is not proportional to the dimensions selected, we will resize it based on the largest dimension while maintaining the artwork's aspect ratio.

Please Note

  • Files are printed exactly as submitted.
  • We do not inspect, edit, or modify customer artwork.
  • Low-resolution or pixelated files will produce low-quality prints.
  • Transparent or semi-transparent artwork cannot be printed using UV DTF technology.

Before You Apply

For the best adhesion and finish:

  • Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry.
  • Remove dust, fingerprints, oils, and debris.
  • Avoid cleaning with alcohol immediately before application, as it may affect adhesion on some surfaces.
  • Test on an inconspicuous area if applying to an unfamiliar material.

How to Apply UV DTF Stickers

Step 1

Firmly rub both the front and back of the transfer using a squeegee or firm applicator.

Step 2

Clean the application surface and make sure it is free of dirt, dust, and oils.

Step 3

Slowly peel the white backing paper away from the design.

Make sure the entire design remains attached to the clear carrier film.

Step 4

Carefully align the transfer before applying.

Important: Once the adhesive touches the surface, it cannot be repositioned.

Step 5

Press the transfer firmly onto the surface.

Using a squeegee, work from the center outward to remove any trapped air bubbles.

Step 6

Rub the transfer thoroughly to ensure maximum adhesion.

Take extra time around small details and edges.

Step 7

Slowly peel away the clear carrier film.

If any portion of the design begins lifting, lay the film back down, rub firmly again, and continue peeling slowly.

For optimal performance:

  • Apply to smooth, clean, hard surfaces.
  • Avoid touching the adhesive before application.
  • Do not rush the installation.
  • Allow the adhesive to fully bond before heavy handling or washing.

No. UV DTF Stickers are applied by hand and require no heat press.

Can I reposition the sticker after applying it?

No. Once the adhesive touches the surface, it bonds quickly and should be considered permanent.

Will you edit my artwork?

No. Files are printed exactly as received. Please verify sizing, transparency, spelling, and image quality before uploading.

Can UV DTF Stickers be applied to fabric?

No. UV DTF Stickers are designed for hard surfaces only. For apparel and textiles, use our Custom DTF Transfers.
